WAIT TIME & CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand things come up and sometimes unexpected events are completely unavoidable. This is why we often pad our reservations to give time for the unexpected, but it doesn’t always work! To help smooth things out, we’ve implemented a standard set of policies for everyone’s benefit:
GRACE PERIOD
A 10 minute grace period is afforded to each trip (with exception to trips with requested wait time). After 10 minutes, the trip IS subject to being considered a NO SHOW. IF our schedule allows us to wait more than 10 minutes, we charge $1.00 per minute, not to exceed one half hour. If we are forced to reschedule your trip (whether it be the same day or another day), an additional pickup fee applies.
CANCELLATIONS
You can cancel your reservation by calling or texting us at 619-885-3737 or directly emailing us at happy2helpsd@gmail.com. We ask customers to cancel their reservation at least 24hrs in advance of the scheduled pickup to guarantee a refund of the deposit (minus a processing fee). Any cancellation received with less than 24hr notice will FORFEIT THE DEPOSIT. If a trip is cancelled within 2 hours of the scheduled pickup it is considered a NO SHOW.
NO SHOWS
As a small, family-owned black business we have a limited number of vehicles and drivers. As such, when you request a reservation the time slot(s) are prioritized for you and you only. If for any reason you or your loved one is not able to make the scheduled reservation, please make us aware as soon as possible to avoid further complications. If the trip isn’t completed as scheduled it’s considered a NO SHOW. A NO SHOW WILL BE CHARGED mileage, in addition to the applicable pickup fee. This is NON REFUNDABLE, no exceptions.
